The Path to Enlightenment

As abstract artist, I like exploring the unusual aspects of the human nature using a surreal twist. I am inspired by abstraction in the nature, in clouds in leaves in women in myself...every where I see abstract celebration. There are times when you are in deep thought and you ask yourself a simple question, Who am I?

Answering this question has been quest for enlightenment ever since the human race, brewing up within depth of mind generating numerous philosophies, theologies, myths, legends and scientific theories. Complex beliefs and rituals have evolved to satisfy our insatiable hunger to know the truth.

Krishnamurti has rightly said "There's only one path - the path of the heart."

The path to attain the enlightenment travels from heart to the mind, a path towards spiritual enlightenment by mental purity with the goal to unite the Conscious mind with the soul. Enlightenment is realized when the sense of self identification comes through mind’s waves of perception, and the false self consisting of the ego, the intellect and our complete record of meaning, is dissolved. The ripples of the sea of consciousness, termed vritti, have become motionless and the spirit or aatmaa, the perceiver, knows who he is.

Let’s realize the path to enlightenment within ourselves with mental purity, I have been working on this subject for quite a sometime started with the Buddha's enlightenment and have so far completed four oil paintings in this series and still try to visualize more complex answer to the simple questions.
